Childhood´s Advisory Board is an external group of experts who assists in the assessment of the project applications. Its members read all applications, meet with Childhood´s project managers to discuss them and finally give recommendations to the Childhood Board of Directors.
The members of Childhood´s Advisory Board are experts in many fields regarding children´s rights, violence and sexual abuse of children and preventive work with children and families at risk; they also possess thorough knowledge of the countries Childhood is active in, international development work, method development and evaluation.
There is one Advisory Board in Sweden (assesing Childhood projects in Belarus, Cambodia, Poland, Moldova, Russia, South Africa, Sweden, Thailand and Ukraine) and one in Germany and USA respectively, assessing local projects. Childhood Brazil asseses projects through its internal experts.
